Joseph LeDoux
Joseph LeDoux is an American neuroscientist at NYU known for mapping the brain circuits of fear and emotion, especially the role of the amygdala in fear conditioning. His work bridges the neurobiology of emotion with anxiety and threat responses in body and mind.
