Jaak Panksepp
Jaak Panksepp (1943-2017) was an Estonian-American neuroscientist and psychobiologist who coined the term 'affective neuroscience' and identified seven primary emotional systems in the mammalian brain. He is also widely known for his discovery of laughter-like vocalizations in tickled rats.
